(Black, Asian And Ethnic Minority Members In The T&GWU)
The film was commisioned by LMHR trade union supporters the Transport & General Workers’ Union, and put together by Simon Green. It was made to give voice to black, asian
and ethnic minority members and talks of their journey from the sixties, telling their experiences and what it has meant to be union members.
The film was funded by regions of the T&G, as a gift to Black History Month 2006.
Black History Month is a time to celebrate the contributions black, asian and ethnic minorities have made and continue to make in uk society.
The film was reproduced and distributed to over 200 T&G members.
