LMHR SCHOOLS CD GATHERS PACE – MORE ARTISTS ON BOARD, FIONN REGAN VIDEO HERE

Last week’s NME featured a full page on the LMHR, NUT-sponsored CD compilation for schools. (See online version of the article here). We caught up with one of the artists taking part, Mercury-nominated singer-songwriter Fionn Regan, to talk about LMHR, music, and politics. Andy Boyle filmed the interview, with Alison from LMHR asking the questions.

Other artists now confirmed for the CD include Manu Chao, New Young Pony Club and Nine Black Alps. In this week’s NME, Tim Burgess lead singer of The Charlatans (who’ve contributed a specially-written and recorded track ‘Blank Heart, Blank Mind’, said: “We heard about the CD racists were handing out at schools, and this is a great counter-attack, as it’s going to get to many people.”
