PC Joe Cutting was suspended from policing duty after his name was found on a leaked BNP membership list last November. On 29th January he was reinstated to work at Southwark Police Station.
The Met’s decision to exonerate him from his association with a far right organisation has never been made public. Members of the public have a right to know who we are trusting our security to and that the Police Service we receive treats every person fairly and with dignity and respect.
We demand a full independent inquiry into any case where a member of the police force is a suspected member of a far-right organisation and that the result of such inquiries be made public.
