Barking gig: King Blues, Ghetts and Jerry Dammers join top line-up

Political punks The King Blues and Jerry Dammers the legendary founder of The Specials top the bill for massive night out in Barking on Saturday 17 April.

The gig – mixing it up with everything from raw grime to old-skool ska at the Broadway Theatre, Barking – will be the main London event for LMHR over the next month.

East London vocalist Lauren Mason is the latest addition to the line-up, which also features grime star Ghetts and up-and-coming Newham rapper Griminal.

LMHR stalwart and 2-Tone legend Jerry Dammers will give us his unmissable DJ set, with a mix of ska, rocksteady, dub, dancehall, dubstep and jungle. And genre-mashing pranksters Where’s Huey? will be adding their flavour to the evening.

Also performing are: Deanna Rodger, DJ Joe Grime & Chason. Food, merch stalls and drink all available!

we must stand up against racism, not just the BNP who won’t be around too long, but UKIP are involved in this – there is also an underlying racism pervading the population.
You don’t have to look far – see the present political unhealthy interest in immigration.
ANL now LMHR are a great force against racism – long may it continue!

    Thanks! Nick
