Cambridge Crawl: Levellers and Attila headline eight days for LMHR

Folk-punk legends The Levellers and inimitable angry wordsmith Attila the Stockbroker are headlining the Cambridge Crawl – eight days of music, art and poetry for Love Music Hate Racism at venues across Cambridge.

The big names are joined by a host of local talent at the event, which runs from Sunday 25 April to Sunday 2 May, celebrating diversity and spreading an anti-racist vibe in the run-up to the general election.

Sunday 25th April

The Levellers – Junction 1 – Doors open 7pm – Tickets £19.50 from the Junction.



Monday 26th April

Two new local bands: Sub Conscious & Soft Red Explosion – The Bun Shop – 8pm – Free entry.



Tuesday 27th April

A hilarious night of rock karaoke – RockAokenight – The Zebra – 8pm – Free entry.



Wednesday 28th April

Local poet and activist Jonny is the host for… Jonny Marvel’s party – The Six Bells – 8pm – Free entry

Thursday 29th April

Infamous punk poet Attila the Stockbroker and anarchic folk singer-songer writer David Roviks. Supported by Magic Phil and Mal Content – CB2 – 8pm – Tickets £8 waged/£6 unwaged (available in advance from here)



Friday 30th April

An acoustic night of political tunes that will put a smile on your face, with the legendary Cosmo and Flora, Rob and Jonny – The Bun Shop – 8pm – Free entry.

Friday 30th April

Five indie bands, an alcohol free gig for under 18s – Fiver – Junction 1 – 6pm – £5.



Saturday 1st May

The Ska Sensations, recording their new live album – Big 10 – The Haymakers – 8pm – £6 advance from here or £7 on the door.



Sunday 2nd May

Open Mic Night Clowns – 8pm – Free entry.
