Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly swoops in to Carnival 2010!

Sam Duckworth AKA Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is the final big name to join our main stage lineup for the Love Music Hate Racism carnival on Saturday 1 May in Barnsley.

Festival vibe

Sam – a stalwart LMHR supporter for many years – will be joined on the bill by grime crew Roll Deep, UB40, Chipmunk, The Blackout, Reverend and the Makers and Mumzy Stranger and more on the festival main stage. Another 40 bands are playing at a series of fringe events across the Barnsley, keeping the festival vibe alive into the small hours.

Getting involved

Sam has made his commitment to fighting racism with LMHR very clear at gigs and protests over the years. Check out this video, from way back in 2006, where he explains why he first got involved…

first time at a LMHR concert and totally fell in love with Get Cape. Really rocked bit too much i think when problem with sound went down. Brill day apart from when heavens opened. Dunno about liquid sunshine more like icy water. will be looking out for Get Cape in future.
