Hackney Cultural Association presents ‘songs of resistance’

Hackney Cultural Association is organising a gig in support of Love Music Hate Racism and Unite Against Fascism.

The Songs of Resistance event takes place on 1 May at the Royal Sovereign, 64 Northwold Road E5 8RL.

Featured artists include:

Las Senoritas – flamenco
Tnisha – singer/songwriter
Somaye – Persian fusion
Morning Bride – Anglo-Americana, roots country-noir
The Dublo – backwater blues stripped to the bone
and DJ Scarper

The gig starts at 7.30pm. Entry by donation.
