Asian hip hop star Mumzy Stranger has backed this Saturday’s “We Are Bradford” event. Mumzy has previously played at LMHR gigs including this year’s massive carnival in Barnsley, he also supported a demonstration called earlier this year by East End United when the racist English Defence League (EDL) threatened to march upon Tower Hamlets.

Love Music Hate Racism is a cause I greatly support. Intolerance has no place in music and I believe we must unite together to combat it. I can’t be in Bradford on Saturday but i hope you have a great day and show the racist EDL that we will not be intimidated, and they are not welcome in our towns or cities.”
