Mumzy Stranger gets behind ‘We Are Bradford’

Asian hip hop star Mumzy Stranger  has backed this Saturday’s “We Are Bradford” event. Mumzy has previously played at LMHR gigs including this year’s massive carnival in Barnsley, he also supported a demonstration called earlier this year by East End United when the racist English Defence League (EDL) threatened to march upon Tower Hamlets.

Mumzy said:

Love Music Hate Racism is a cause I greatly support. Intolerance has no place in music and I believe we must unite together to combat it.  I can’t be in Bradford on Saturday but i hope you have a great day and show the racist EDL that we will not be intimidated, and they are not welcome in our towns or cities.”

Come and show your support to the people of Bradford this Saturday when an array of artists will perform before crowds gathered to celebrate the city’s diverstiy.  Assemble 12noon at Exchange Sq. off Drake Street in the City Centre. More details HERE.
