Derby says NO! to racism and Islamophobia.

More than 500 people enjoyed an afternoon of music and dance on Saturday July 9th, celebrating Derby’s multicultural society and sending out a strong message to those wh0 wanting to bring racism, hate, and intolerance to the city.

Derby LMHR Fest ‘Say NO to the Racist EDL in Derby!’

On Saturday July 9th the Market Place Derby plays host to a musical celebration of multiculturalism and diversity in the City.

Backed by our sister organisation Unite Against Fascism, and Unite the Union, Derby LMHR Fest will draw together people of all faiths and backgrounds in opposition to the racism and fascism of the English Defence League.
Thanks to the massive local support shown in Derby in the build-up to the festival, the EDL have been forced to cancel their planned march, recognising that they are not welcome in the City! However, our celebration of multiculturalism and diversity will still go ahead!!
