Thank you so much to all 400 of you who came to show support at such late notice to our national conference held jointly with Unite Against Fascism. The main aim of the day was to discuss how anti-racists should react to the recent electoral gains of Nazi parties such as the British National Party (BNP). Our lively session – excellently chaired by Julia Barton from Stoke Love Music Hate Racism – featured the cream of the crop of today’s anti-racist artists, namely, Sam Duckworth (Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly), LowKey, C-Mone, Kid British, Baby-J and a last minute addition of Strategy (Broken English) stepping up to fill John McClure’s shoes who was unfortunately unable to attend at the last minute.
